Problem No 7: Kidney and/or liver failure

If This is the first time you have come to the website, you will find it easier to understand if you read the introduction on the left first, and then the previous blogs before reading this one.

Symptoms and Cause
Both the kidneys and liver have an important role in filtering the body, and protecting the body from infection.  The Liver cleans the blood of toxins but also helps to absorb the good things that the body needs to survive, and discards the waste, and things the body doesn’t need, and its then carried back into the gut and out.  Liver failure occurs when large parts of the liver become damaged beyond repair and is no longer able to function.

Kidneys not only filter out toxins, but they are important for balancing the water level of the body, regulate blood pressure and a few more things.  When the kidneys lose their ability to function properly, kidney failure is the result. These organs of the body are amazingly efficient but when overloaded they will fail.

The leaders, elders, deacons and pastors of the church have the responsibility to care for the sheep, feeding them, teaching, warning, correcting and exhorting them, but so often the church members don’t want to hear, don’t want to be told, don’t want to deal with problems, resulting in the leaders of individual churches becoming exhausted, they collapse, and are no longer able to function.  Sometimes this may be due to the fact that they have sinned and are no longer able to function, but more likely they are overwhelmed with the task of leading the church – the result however is the same, the filter system of the church fails.
