The church
is made up of everyone of us whom God has chosen, and brought into his family
which includes all those who have ever lived and will live in the future. It has many names, the bride of Christ, the
body of Christ being just two. God’s
desire is that through the united church, the world will see God reflected, and
be drawn to him when they see us, his
church, living together with love and righteousness.
The sad fact
is that the church is far from what God desires or intended. If the church were a human being we would be
rushing for the phone to dial the emergency number – 999, 911, 191, 1669 or
whatever number would bring aid as fast as possible for a body that has all the
symptoms of one in the throes of death. Here are just some of those symptoms:
