Problem No 8: Parasites

If This is the first time you have come to the website, you will find it easier to understand if you read the introduction on the left first, and then the previous blogs before reading this on.

Symptoms and cause
In cases where parasites are the problem, we will find that certain individuals in the church have the opportunity to take in good, rich food, but the body fails to thrive,  but may become bloated, so that it looks as though they are putting on weight but in actual fact, this is a symptom of the problem.  Tests from things that come out of the body will indicate that there are parasites, in the body.

Spiritually, or in the church there may be different forms of parasites, but the result is the same, the body does not thrive.  Parasites?  In what way?  People come to the church and look as though they are part of the church, but are not.  Their motives for coming to church may vary, the fact is that they receive something that causes them to return – usually this is not a spiritual revelation, or a touch from the Lord, but more likely that they feel accepted, loved, given attention and possibly material or financial help.  If you begin to quiz them on their spiritual journey, conversion, experience, they will be vague, and often will pass as a new Christian that needs teaching, but further investigation will reveal that they have no real spiritual hunger or thirst, they aren’t particularly interested in spiritual things, they don’t really understand what being a Christian means.  Parasites that have been around for a while can be very hard to discern, because they can learn the right language, and can disguise themselves, and unfortunately can do more damage than you can believe.  They are especially good at criticizing and gossiping and can cause no end of problems setting different members against one another.  This is one of the tests of parasites – what comes out of their mouths?
