Treatment and prognosis for The Inability to Breathe

There needs to be a desire to return to the Lord, in order that the breath of life that he breathed into Adam and Eve may once again fill us again.  We need to ask for his cleansing for our spiritual lungs, which have narrowed and become clogged with 'gunge' from the atmosphere of the world in which we live.

Maybe the prayer of the hymn by Bessie Porter head would help:

O Breath of life, come sweeping through us,
revive your church with life and power.
O Breath of life, come, cleanse, renew us,
and fit your church to meet this hour.

O Wind of God, come bend us, break us,
till humbly we confess our need.
Then in your tenderness remake us;
revive, restore, for this we plead.

O Breath of love, come breathe within us,
renewing thought and will and heart.
Come, love of Christ, afresh to win us;
revive your church in every part.

O Lord, have mercy upon us, that revival may be true of us.
